May 2025 Update - More Data, More Space

At Pilotlogbook.au, we're committed to continuously improving your flight logging experience. Our latest May 2025 update brings significant expansions to data capacity and organisational improvements to help you track your aviation journey more effectively.

What's New in the More Data, More Space Update?

1. Six New Specialist Data Columns

We've added 6 new specialist columns for custom data, giving you more flexibility in how you track your flights. These additional columns are visible in:

  • Logbook Data
  • Dashboard Hub

Note: These new columns will not appear in Print Pilotlogbook to maintain clean printed outputs.

2. Reorganised Recency and Expiry Tracking

To accommodate the expanded Dashboard Hub, we've moved Recency and Expiry tracking to their own dedicated sheet. This change provides:

  • Better organisation of critical date-based information
  • More focused view of your currency requirements
  • Improved visual clarity for both sections

3. Expanded Aircraft Type Space

We've significantly increased the available space for aircraft types on the Dashboard Hub:

  • Added 35 new rows
  • Now supporting a total of 65 aircraft types
  • Perfect for pilots who fly multiple aircraft (looking at you Trent Robinson) or for flight schools managing diverse fleets

4. Bug Fixes and Refinements

We've addressed several minor issues reported by our community:

  • Fixed calculation inconsistencies
  • Enhanced overall system stability

Why This Update Matters

This expansion-focused update directly responds to feedback from our most active users who needed more space and customisation options. Whether you're tracking specialised flight parameters, managing many aircraft types, or simply wanting more organised views of your data, these enhancements deliver a more powerful and flexible logging experience.
